Description

Pellet Stove Convection Blower Gasket.  This gasket creates a seal between the blower and the body of the stove.  This helps ensure that all air being circulated around the stove is directed through the unit's heat exchanger.  It is suggested that this gasket be changed if you are replacing the distribution blower or if it begins to show signs of deterioration.

Instructions

Install Instructions For Pellet Stove Convection/Room Blower Gasket (4-3/8" X 4")
  1. Unplug the unit from the power source.
  2. Remove the service panel to access the blower (You may have to remove multiple panels to gain access to this area).
  3. Locate the convection blower.
  4. Remove the blower mounting screws from the rear wall of the stove and remove the blower (You may be able to support the blower during this step. If there isn't enough slack in the wires disconnect the leads running to the blower).
  5. Install your new blower gasket.
  6. Reposition the blower in place and reinstall the previously removed screws/bolts (Reconnect the blower wiring if disconnected).
  7. Reinstall any previously removed panels.
  8. Plug the stove in and test the blower.

Troubleshooting

The convection blower gasket creates a seal between the blower and the body of the unit. This helps ensure that all air being circulated around the furnace is directed through the unit's heat exchanger. It is suggested that this gasket be changed if you are replacing the distribution blower or if it begins to show signs of deterioration. 


Warranty

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.
