Description

USSC Pellet Stove Auger Motor (KP60): 80781. This motor attaches to the auger and rotates in timed intervals to feed pellets to the burn pot. If your motor isn't turning and you've confirmed the fuse is intact and all safety switches are functioning properly, the motor may need to be replaced.

Instructions

Install Instructions For USSC Pellet Stove Auger Motor (KP60): 80781

1.) Make sure that your unit is cool to the touch.

2.) Unplug the stove.

3.) Remove the needed panels to gain access to the auger/drive motor.

4.) After locating the motor, disconnect the wire leads connecting the motor to the wiring harness.

5.) Using a pair of pliers, remove the retainer pin that attaches the auger motor to the auger shaft (This should release the auger motor). On some motors, a set screw will need to be removed.

6.) Position the new auger motor in place (You may need to rotate the auger to line up the hole on the auger shaft with the hole on the stub of the motor).

7.) Install the previously removed retainer pin or set screw.

8.) Reconnect the wire leads to the wiring harness.

9.) Reinstall any previously removed panels.

10.) Plug in the unit and test the motor.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.
