Error Reporting

Flashing Draft Fan Setting - This indicates that the stove is in normal operation and that the vacuum sensor detects a loss of pressure either because the door is open or because there is a negative pressure in the room with respect to the exhaust. If the problem is not remedied and the unit is still in start-up mode you get a ERR-3. If this problem happens during run mode, you will get an ERR-2.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

If your question does not concern this specific product, use our contact form
Ask a Question
  • If the switch is faulty , what effect does it have on the operation of the stove ?? Does this switch have anything to do with how the stove operates on negative pressure ??

The switch has to close the circuit for power to get to the feed motor. Pressure switches can fail in two ways, fail to make the circuit or fail to hold the pressure and lose the circuit. If the switch isn't closing the circuit this doesn't necessarily mean the switch is the problem. It may be doing its job of preventing the feed system from operating if poor airflow is detected.
