Description

Breckwell Pellet Stove Convection/Room Blower. This blower circulates air around the stove and across the heat exchanger.  This fan is responsible for transferring warm air into the room.  If your blower is not functioning correctly, it can greatly reduce the amount of heat you get from the stove!  If the blower is not moving the same amount of air as it once did it may need to be cleaned or replaced.!

Note: If you have an older Breckwell stove with mounting plate dimensions: 5" x 5-1/2" you will need an adapter plate A-MP-KIT.

This blower may not work with some older P2700 units.

Troubleshooting

-The distribution blower is the fan responsible for blowing hot air into the room. Often times this blower will become coated in dust and pet hair. If you feel like the blower is not moving as much air as it once did, the motor should be cleaned. If this does not resolve the issue the motor may need to be replaced.

-Many stoves are also equipped with a high-limit sensor. If your high-limit sensor is tripping or you are receiving a high-limit error code on your board this may indicate that the blower is not moving as much air as it should.

Glad I bought best blower

I purchased a cheaper aftermarket blower a few years ago and realized after visiting a friend with a pellet stove how his stove was much quieter so I decided to purchase an OEM blower and what a difference. Though the blower I replaced worked as it was supposed to it just was much noiseier the OEM is so quiet, sounds like it's barely even running we love the change I am frustrated with myself for not having done that originally from now on spending the money and getting the best equipment for my pellet stove.

Ask a Question
  • when my big e first starts one of the fans squeels. and sometimes this lasts for quite a while. would this be the convection or combustion fan or how can I be sure whish one I need to order?

The combustion fan is the first fan to come on. Typically the convection fan will come on when the body of the stove has heated to a certain degree.
