Replacement Upper and Lower Auger Bearing for Serenity Pellet Stoves. When reassembling, ensure that the bearings are in place and do not bind up when the auger shaft is spun.  The bearing should glide around freely with little resistance but should not “whizz” around like a skate wheel when spun.

Instructional Notes

Instructions:

1.) Unplug the stove from the power supply.

2.) Remove all pellets from the hopper.

3.) Next, remove the auger assembly and auger shaft (If you have questions about this step click on "Auger Troubleshooting" under Videos).

4.) Locate the upper bearing found at the top of the auger shaft (It is possible this bearing will fall out when the auger shaft is removed).

5.) Remove the old bearing and install the replacement (This is a good time to check the CB-LOWER-BEARING to see if it needs to be replaced).

9.) Reinstall the auger shaft & round bottom plate.

10.) Reinstall the auger motor assembly.

11.) Plug in the unit and add fuel to the hopper.
