Description

ComfortBilt Pellet Stove Convection Blower for the HP50. The purpose of this fan is to circulate room air around the back of the stove and force it through the unit's heat exchanger.  This 130 CFM fan is responsible for blowing heated air into the room.

Install Instructions:

1.) Disconnect the power from the unit.

2.) Remove the rear and side panels from the stove (You may not need to remove all three panels).

3.) Disconnect both power wires running to the fan motor.

4.) Loosen the 4 Allen bolts attaching the mounting bracket to the stove and remove the fan assembly.

5.) Position the new fan assembly in place and reinstall the 4 previously removed Allen bolts.

6.) Connect the previously removed power wires to the tabs on the new motor.

7.) Reinstall any stove panels that were removed.

8.) Plug in the unit.

Troubleshooting Notes

Helpful Tips:

The first step to take when troubleshooting is to manually check and see if the fan spins freely. The fan should spin freely in both directions with very little resistance. If the fan feels stuck or you feel resistance it usually indicates that the fan blade is not centered between the grommets. This can also happen if debris is lodged in the fan.

Warranty

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.
