Description

This is the 3/4" nylon feeder tensioner used to keep the chain in alignment on the freestanding Advance, XXV, and Accentra pellet stoves with a 'Chain and Sprocket' driven feeder system.

Note: This tensioner only exists on the chain driven feed systems with a 1:1 gear ratio. If you have a chain drive system with a smaller primary gear (auger motor gear), the motor mounting frame will not have a tensioner mount. Harman released an update to the early versions of this feed system which included a new motor frame with tensioner mount, a new chain and an updated, larger primary gear. Everything is included in this kit 1-00-06626. The update kit no longer includes the tensioner mounting bolt, HAR-KIT-00075 and is sold separately.

Instructional Notes

The feeder tensioner is not meant to spin. Over time the tensioner will become notched from the chain riding over the same spot. The tensioner can be loosened and rotated without having to replace it.

Warranty

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.
