Harman Chain Sprocket Kit (Accentra-Cast, Advance, XXV): 1-00-06626-AMP

The indirect feed system was used on the Harman Accentra-Cast, Advance, and the XXV prior to 2009.  Models with the indirect system are:

• Accentra - pre serial number: 008400001
• Advance - pre serial number: 0083600001
• XXV - pre serial number: 12871

About the Auger Feed Motor

Auger motors for this indirect drive feed system do have a lifespan of approximately 8-10 years before they start to wear out. Direct drive motor can last longer. If you are installing this kit and want to replace the motor at the same time, the motor you want is, 3-20-08752.

Reduction Gear Indirect Systems

This kit replaces the original indirect feed design that used a reduction gear (sprockets were two different sizes). If you have this older version, this kit replaces all of those components. These early kits did not have a chain tensioner. This kit assumes that you already have the tensioner and Harman wants you to reuse the tensioner bolt. Make sure you order one if you are replacing this older style.

Instructional Notes

When securing the motor to this mounting bracket, Harman recommends NOT TO USE the grommet and spacer. Instead, they want you to hard mount the motor to the bracket and forego the use of the grommets.

Troubleshooting Notes

If your chain is constantly slipping off the chain and you have one smaller gear and one larger gear, you should update to the 1:1 replacement using this kit.
