Harman Pummice Style Fire Brick 9" x 4.5" x 1.25", 1-00-900450125

This firebrick measures 9" x 4-1/2" x 1-1/4" and is sold individually (just 1 brick). Fire Bricks are essential to the overall performance of your stove. These bricks maintain the proper distance between the flame and the stove shell which prevents excessive heat transfer. Check the service parts section of your manual to see how many bricks are used in your stove and how they are placed. Some stove models also require an insulation blanket to be used in conjunction with the firebrick.

All of the complete replacement sets of firebrick for all Harman pellet, coal, and wood stoves have been discontinued. Below, is a list of all of the models that use firebricks. The number included in the parentheses, after the model name, is the total number of full bricks that would have originally come in the complete set for each unit but Harman is no longer selling cut bricks sets for their respective models. 

We suggest templating all of your bricks as you carefully remove them from the stove; trace the outer edge to a sheet of paper so you will know what quantities, shapes, and sizes are required.

Always double-check your existing brick dimensions and quantities against your owner's manual before ordering as bricks are expensive to ship, which will likely prohibit you from sending them back for credit.

Harman Stoves has recently changed the composition of all of their firebricks to a pumice style to reduce the shipping weight. While they still perform just as well as the older style made from clay, they can be brittle and require handling with care. You will want to use extra care when handling them.

If you want to see our collection of "Cut Bricks" in the clay style, check out the entire collection. Some of these shaped bricks may still need to have another cut made to match the brick you need but some of the work has already been done for you.

Compatible Models

swapping firebricks is as easy as pulling out the old ones and replacing them with new ones. Harman has discontinued all cut brick sets so if you have to cut your own shape, the easiest way is with a wet saw or a tile break. Make sure to template your bricks to paper as you remove them so that you understand all of the different sizes and shapes you may need to make up a complete set.

Fire brick that has cracked can usually continued to be used until the actual crack breaks the brick into 2 or more pieces (cracked through).

When Will My Order Ship

All orders are typically processed within 24 hours of receiving payment and are shipped from us same day if placed before our shipping cutoff time (Monday - Friday: 1PM, Saturday: 10AM, Sunday: No Shipping), orders placed after our cutoff time are shipped the next morning.

How Does Free Shipping Work?

Most orders over $199 qualify for free shipping! Orders which ship for free are shipped with either USPS or UPS based on our discretion. If you are using a PO box, free shipping orders will always go USPS.

Is Expedited Shipping Available?

We offer both overnight and two day air shipping services for all orders placed within the Continental United States. For information on shipping cut-off times, go to our shipping page.

Do You Ship To Canada?

We ship to Canada! We estimate USPS to take 4-10 days once receiving your package from us. We do not offer expedited shipping of any kind to Canada. Please allow an extra 2-5 days for all shipments to Canada. Free shipping is not available to Canada.

Do You Ship To Alaska Or Hawii?

We ship to both Alaska and Hawaii! We do not offer next day or two day shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. Free shipping is not available to Alaska or Hawaii.

Do You Ship Outside The US Or Canada?
