Blaze King Wood Stove Latch Catch. This will receive the hook / latch from the door handle.  It is important to check the seal on your door periodically.  If the door is not sealing tightly, it can cause a decrease in efficiency, inability to control the burn rate and may allow smoke/flue gasses to enter the room.

The latch catch can be removed by loosening and removing the nut located on the front of the unit and the nut on the interior of the firebox (Pay special attention to the orientation of the catch on the unit prior to removing. The new catch will have to be installed in the same position).

Helpful Tips:

It is important to periodically check and confirm that the door is sealing correctly against the body of the stove.  If the door is not sealing tightly this can cause a decrease in efficiency, inability to control the burn rate and may allow smoke/flue gasses to enter the room. If the gasket appears to be in good condition but the door is not sealing correctly the latch catch may need to be adjusted or replaced.
