Quadra-Fire Upper Firepot Assembly for Mt Vernon AE, E2, Trekker, SRV7034-072B

The upper firepot assembly is the top half of the firepot separate from the lower portion which is connected to the auto-clean mechanism. This assembly comes with a gasket, hardware, and instructions for installing the assembly. 

This is also used as an upgrade kit to change the early Mt Vernon AE stoves (Pre 2010) to the newer style firepot. All models made from 2011 until 2019 have the updated firepot, thermocouple and thermocouple cover.

• This assembly when used in Mt Vernon AE stoves and inserts requires thermocouple SRV7034-247. Older assemblies (pre 2010) used thermocouple SRV7000-334, which was a braided wire thermocouple all the way to the tip. The SRV7034-247 thermocouple has a protective stainless steel sheath at the end which is shaped to fit this firepot.

Compatible Models

To install this firepot...

1. Unplug the appliance from power
2. Located and unplug the thermocouple
3. Loosen the wing screw for the igniter and remove it from the firepot
4. Remove the right side mounting bolt and remove the thermocouple
5. Remove the left side mounting bolt.
6. Remove the firepot and gasket
7. Clean up the metal floor under the firepot and around the edge of the cutout to remove and rust and flaking metal
8. Install the new firepot with the gasket between the stove and the firepot
9. Install the mounting bolt. *NOTE- THE MOUNTING BOLTS LIKE TO STRIP OFF IN THE STOVE. IT IS SUGGESTED TO REPLACE BOTH MOUNTING BOLTS AND REMOVE THE BRASS TAP SET THREADED CAPS. USE 2 NEW BOLTS, 225-0120. USE LOCKNUT 226-0090 TO SECURE THE FIREPOT BOLTS.
10. RECONNECT YOUR IGNITER
11. RECONNECT OR INSTALL YOUR NEW THERMOCOUPLE

OTHER NOTES: THIS FIREPOT COMES WITH (1) ONE NEW MOUNTING BOLT WHICH IS LONGER THAN THE ONES THAT COME WITH THE UNIT. THIS BOLT IS INTENDED TO BE INSTALLED ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND IT LONGER SO IT CAN FIT THROUGH THE THERMOCOUPLE MOUNT. THIS BOLT IS TOO LONG TO BE USED ON THE LEFT SIDE UNLESS IT PROPPED UP WITH TWO WASHERS.

Do You Ship To Canada?

We ship to Canada! We estimate USPS to take 4-10 days once receiving your package from us. We do not offer expedited shipping of any kind to Canada. Please allow an extra 2-5 days for all shipments to Canada. Free shipping is not available to Canada.

Do You Ship To Alaska Or Hawii?

We ship to both Alaska and Hawaii! We do not offer next day or two day shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. Free shipping is not available to Alaska or Hawaii.

Do You Ship Outside The US Or Canada?

Unfortunately, at this time we do not offer international shipping other than to Canada.
