Quadra-Fire Mt. Vernon AE Firepot/ burnpot Thermocouple, SRV7034-247-AMP

The QuadraFire Mt Vernon AE was an award-winning pellet stove in its day that has since been discontinued. This part is the updated burn pot/ firepot thermocouple and includes the thermocouple, hardware, mounting instructions, and retrofit instructions for the older models made prior to 2009. This is the direct replacement for the Mt Vernon AE pellet stove, Mt Vernon AE pellet insert, and the Edge 60 built-in fireplace. 

This thermocouple uses the smaller 2 3/16" ceramic cover which is smaller than the cover used other Quadrafire units, part SRV7034-186

1. The Mt Vernon AE uses two thermocouples, one which is mounted on the firepot and one that is mounted on the back of the pellet drop tube. The mother board must detect both of these circuits of an error message will display and the unit will not start-up.
2. IF UNIT LIGHTS AND GOES OUT DURING START-UP: SEE PAGE 16 (FIREPOT THERMOCOUPLE TROUBLE-SHOOTING)
3. Early versions of the motherboard for the AE units had known issues regarding the thermocouple connections on the PCB board where the pins of the thermocouples connect. If you have replaced the thermocouple and are still having problems, you are probably going to have to replace the motherboard/ control board. Over time, the solder connections at the thermocouple connection points will develop microscopic cracks in the solder, which can sometimes be remedied by heating and "re wetting" the solder points at the connections (skills and specialized tools are required) OR the pins at the solder connections will become separated from the PCB board altogether. These problems will require a new control board, part SRV7000-456

Do You Ship To Canada?

We ship to Canada! We estimate USPS to take 4-10 days once receiving your package from us. We do not offer expedited shipping of any kind to Canada. Please allow an extra 2-5 days for all shipments to Canada. Free shipping is not available to Canada.

Do You Ship To Alaska Or Hawii?

We ship to both Alaska and Hawaii! We do not offer next day or two day shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. Free shipping is not available to Alaska or Hawaii.

Do You Ship Outside The US Or Canada?

Unfortunately, at this time we do not offer international shipping other than to Canada.
