Instructions

Install Instructions For US Stove Convection/Distribution Blower Motor: 80442-AMP

*Installation will vary depending on the unit you have. On some models, the blower will be accessed by removing panels from the unit. On others, the blower motor will be housed in a removable cage mounted on the rear of the stove.*

1.) Unplug the unit and make sure it is cool to the touch.

2.) Remove the necessary panels from the unit to allow access to the convection blower (You may need to remove the side panel in addition to the rear panel).

3.) Disconnect the power wires leading to the blower.

4.) Remove the screws attaching the blower housing to the unit (*Pay special attention to the orientation of the blower and any grommets/spacers. The replacement blower needs to be positioned in the same way!*).

5.) Position the new blower assembly in place and reinstall the previously removed screws.

6.) Reconnect any previously removed power wires.

7.) Reinstall any previously removed panels and plug in the unit.

Troubleshooting

-The distribution blower is the fan responsible for blowing hot air into the room. Often times this blower will become coated in dust and pet hair. If you feel like the blower is not moving as much air as it once did, the motor should be cleaned. If this does not resolve the issue the motor may need to be replaced.

-Many stoves are also equipped with a high-limit sensor. If your high-limit sensor is tripping or you are receiving a high-limit error code on your board this may indicate that the blower is not moving as much air as it should.
