Description

USSC Pellet Stove Convection/Room Blower with mounting plate dimensions 4″ X 4-3/8″. This blower circulates air around the stove and across the heat exchanger. This fan is responsible for transferring warm air into the room. If your blower is not functioning correctly, it can greatly reduce the amount of heat you get from the stove! If the blower is not moving the same amount of air as it once did it may need to be cleaned or replaced. 

Note: It is suggested that you replace the high limit safety snap disc whenever you replace the room blower: C-E-090-21.

  1. Unplug the unit from the power source.
  2. Remove the service panel to access the blower. You may have to remove multiple panels to gain access to this area.
  3. Locate the convection blower.
  4. Remove the blower mounting screws from the rear wall of the stove and remove the blower. You may be able to support the blower during this step. If there isn't enough slack in the wires, disconnect the leads running to the blower.
  5. Install your new blower gasket.
  6. Reposition the blower in place and reinstall the previously removed screws/bolts. Reconnect the blower wiring if disconnected.
  7. Reinstall any previously removed panels.
  8. Plug the stove in and test the blower.

Troubleshooting Notes

-The distribution blower is the fan responsible for blowing hot air into the room. Often times this blower will become coated in dust and pet hair. If you feel like the blower is not moving as much air as it once did, the motor should be cleaned. If this does not resolve the issue the motor may need to be replaced.


-Many stoves are also equipped with a high-limit sensor. If your high-limit sensor is tripping or you are receiving a high-limit error code on your board this may indicate that the blower is not moving as much air as it should.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.
