Assembly Instructions For US Stove (Wood/Coal) Furnace Distribution Blower: 80594-AMP

.) Disconnect the power from the unit.

.) Remove the two screws holding the wire cover to the blower housing.

.) Remove the wire cover.

.) Untwist and remove the wire nuts from the wires coming from the blower to the conduit.

.) Loosen and remove the lock nut holding the conduit to the wire housing (The conduit is now free from the blower).

.) Next loosen the 4 bolts holding the blower to the furnace.

.) You can now remove the blower from the unit (Check the gasket at this time. If it is damaged or worn it will need to be replaced).

.) To install the new blower thread one bolt through the blower and gasket (This will help you position the gasket in place).

.) Next insert and tighten all four bolts to the rear of the furnace.

.) Remove the wire cover from the newly installed blower.

.) Using a flathead screwdriver remove the knockout from the side of the blower housing.

.) Pull out the wires from the blower wire housing and strip approximately a 1/4" of the plastic off of the ends of the wire.

.) Insert the wires from the conduit through the knockout and position the conduit in place on the side of the wire housing.

.) Replace the lock nut on the inside of the wire housing and tighten the nut to secure the conduit to the housing.

.) Connect the black wire from the blower to the black wire from the conduit and the white wire from the conduit to the white wire from the blower.

.) Reinstall the wire nuts.

.) Reposition the cover and tighten the two screws.

.) Plug in your unit and test the blower.

-If your distribution blower does not seem to be moving the same amount of air as it once did inspect and clean the blower. Distribution blowers will often draw dust and pet hair into the blades of the fan when operating.

-If the fan blades become packed with dust, hair, or other debris this can greatly reduce the efficiency of the blower. Often, a thorough cleaning will resolve this issue.

-If the blower continues to rotate at a slower speed after it has been cleaned or you hear excessive noise coming from the fan it may need to be replaced!
