Description

(USSC) Wood/Coal Furnace (Back) Liner.  This liner is designed to help protect the interior of the firebox.  It acts as a buffer between the flame and inside of the unit. It may serve as a front or rear liner depending on what furnace you have (Check your manual to confirm placement in your unit).

Instructions

Install Instructions For US Stove Back Liner: 40313

1.) Loosen the two bolts above the main load door attaching the hooks to the smoke curtain.

2.) Slide the hooks out of place and remove the smoke curtain.

3.) Remove the first few bricks on each side of the firebox (Pay attention to their location and position).

4.) Remove the liner by sliding it out and up (If you are replacing a back liner the same steps will be followed).

5.) Position the new liner inside the furnace and slide it down into place.

6.) Reposition any previously removed firebrick.

7.) Reattach the hooks and smoke curtain.

8.) Tighten the two bolts that secure the smoke curtain hooks in place.

Troubleshooting

The firebox liner is an important part of your furnace. The liner acts as a buffer, protecting the interior of the firebox from direct contact with the flame. You should periodically inspect the liners. If you notice holes, warping, or cracks forming the liner(s) should be replaced!


Warranty

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.
