Description

Breckwell Pellet Stove Igniter Flange Gasket (SP1002 & SP6000): 88118. This gasket seals between the igniter housing flange and the rear of the unit.  If you have a poor or damaged seal in this area, it may cause ignition issues.

Fits: SP1002 Big E & SP6000 Heartland Multi-Fuel (2012 and newer).

Instructional Notes

1.) Confirm that the stove has completely cooled and unplug the unit.

2.) Remove the needed panels to gain access to the igniter.

3.) Disconnect the igniter power wires.

4.) Using a socket, remove the two bolts securing the igniter weldment to the rear of the unit.

5.) Remove the igniter weldment and discard the old gasket.

6.) Reposition the new gasket on the igniter weldment and slide it into position.

7.) Secure the igniter weldment to the rear of the unit using the two previously removed bolts.

8.) Reconnect the igniter wires.

9.) Reinstall any previously removed panels.

10.) Plug in the unit and confirm that the stove is operational.

Warranty

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.
