Breckwell Pellet Stove Exhaust Blower Gasket. This gasket seals between the exhaust blower housing and the unit. It is important to inspect this seal periodically to make sure it is in good shape. If the gasket shows signs of deterioration or you notice stains on the gasket it should be replaced! Running your stove with a bad gasket may allow smoke to enter the room.
Install Instructions For Breckwell Exhaust Blower Gasket: C-G-101
Unplug the unit.
Remove the necessary panels to access the blower and disconnect the venting (May require removal of the rear and side panels).
Locate the exhaust blower assembly.
Loosen the bolts attaching the housing to the stove (You may be able to support the blower during this step. If there is not enough slack in the leads running to the blower or any low-limit switch attached to the blower housing disconnect the wires at this time).
Remove the old gasket.
Position the new gasket in place, line up your blower, and start to thread the previously removed bolts into place and tighten completely.
Reattach any previously disconnected wires.
Reinstall the venting and vent adapter (If they were previously removed).
Install any previously removed panels.
Plug in the unit and test the blower.
NOTE: If the venting was removed, make sure to apply high-temperature RTV silicone at the connection point when reinstalling and replace any previously removed screws. If the venting adapter was removed from the blower housing make sure this connection point is also sealed with a high temp silicone and secured with the proper self-tapping screw(s).
