Description

Harman Pellet Stove Flame Guide Extension for the Harman P35i.  The Flame Guide Extension is designed to sit behind the main flame guide.  The purpose of this part is to better distribute the flame over the heat exchanger and protect the rear panel of the insert from cracking and warping. 

Note: The Flame Guide Extension was implemented on the P35i Pellet Insert on June 19, 2012, with product serial #8653368. The Extension can be installed in P35i units prior to that serial number.

Make sure that the main flame guide is fully seated on the vertical sides of the burn pot and that the back of the guide rests against the body of the stove. Once the flame guide is installed the Flame Guide Extension should be installed by sliding it in behind the flame guide. Make sure that the bend points away from the Heat Exchanger.

-The rear panel on the interior of your Harman P35i pellet insert should periodically be inspected to ensure it is not warped and there are no cracks forming. The original P35i insert had issues where the rear panel would warp and sometimes crack. The flame guide extension was designed to remedy that issue.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.
