Troubleshooting Notes
If your rheostat is not adjusting the fan speed correctly or you are experiencing reduced airflow, it may need to be replaced. Before replacement, please review the information below.
If your distribution blower does not seem to be moving the same amount of air as it once did, inspect and clean the blower. Distribution blowers will often draw dust and pet hair into the blades of the fan when operating.
If the blower continues to rotate at a slower speed after it has been cleaned or you hear excessive noise coming from the fan it may need to be replaced.
