Description

Breckwell Exhaust Blower Assembly.  The exhaust blower is responsible for drawing smoke out of the unit and pulling combustion air into the stove.  It is important that the blower functions properly.  If the blower is not running as it should, smoke/flue gas may enter the room.  You may also notice a lazy flame and a poor burn as a result of inadequate combustion air being delivered to the fire.

Note: Does not include gasket 88100.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement.   1. I just replaced my combustion fan with this fan on my Breckwell P2700 Mojave. Is the fan supposed to run continuously at full RPM? I don't remember my old fan being as loud but that could just be because it was worn out. When I check the temp with a laser thermometer the motor is 230 degrees fahrenheit. Is this normal operating temperature?

    Combustion blowers in all Breckwell pellet stoves run at a constant RPM. As for the blower being 230°F, the blower has a thermal shut off at 140°F at the coils. Your temp reading is being thrown off by the ambient heat created by the blower housing itself. It cannot operate at 230°F. That said, it doesn't mean that your blower isn't running too hot. Sometimes digital controller can become corrupted and send a modified waveform to the motor causing it to overheat. If the blower is brand new, is vibrating and is "hot" to the touch when there is no fire in the stove, this is sign that your controller is bad. Replace the controller. This may be the reason your other blower expired as well. Make sure that your new controller is protected by a surge protection device to prevent future damage. Lastly, static discharge can also damage a controller. ALWAYS touch the metal of the stove prior to touching the controls. This will discharge any static energy via the grounded outlet vs. the controller.

    Yes, but it may not connect to your wiring harness directly. You will most likely need to attach new wire disconnects to fit.

  3. Does this product come with a gasket? What are the specs on this model?

    The aftermarket part PP7692 does come with the gasket. However the OEM, A-E-027 does not.

Great upgrade!

The Bearing for the exhaust fan in the pellet stove that came with my home (Age unknown) decided to fail on me, I determined that the cause of the failure was actually the two chinsy machine screws that secure the bearing and keep the shaft in line had worked loose, and stripped out allowing the shaft to bind. I'm glad to see that this new motor has that part reinforced with not only a much more beefy piece of metal, but the 2 cheap machine screws have been replaced with FOUR 1/4" BOLTS! upon replacing and starting my stove I realized how quiet its supposed to be, and my old fan motor had been on its way out since I came into ownership over 1 year ago!
Finding and ordering this fan was super easy, and the shipping arrived just in time for a major cold snap! Thanks to Stove & Grill Parts For Less, I'm typing this from my 70 degree home in sub freezing temps!
