ComfortBilt Pellet Stove Replacement Heat Tube Scraper Rod With Knob (11-1/2"). This rod attaches to the internal heat tube scraper inside the stove. It is important to periodically pull the heat tube scrapper rod back and forth. This helps dislodge any ash that is sticking to the interior tubes and allows the unit to maintain an efficient burn.
2.) Rotate the currently installed cleaner rod counterclockwise (This will unthread the rod from the internal heat tube scraper).
3.) Install the new rod by inserting it into the cleaner rod hole (You will need to rotate the rod in a clockwise motion. This will allow the rod to catch and thread into the internal heat tube scraper).
4.) Screw the knob onto the end of the newly installed cleaner rod.
5.) Plug in the unit.

The heat exchanger tubes are located in the upper part of the burn box. If fly ash builds up in this area it can dramatically reduce the stove's efficiency. It is important to periodically pull the heat tube scrapper rod back and forth several times. This causes the internal heat tube scrapper to slide back and forth on the heat exchanger tubes dislodging any build-up.
Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers
make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please
be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.
