I went on your website to see the reason why my pellet stove would not ignite the pellets. The gasket keeps an airtight seal in that area where the burn pot and change it out as recommended, and boom, it started. Easy fix, no E2 code on startup. Thanks.- Anonymous
Description
This burn pot gasket provides a secure seal between the burn pot and the rear of the pellet stove and is compatible with several Englander stove models. Having an airtight gasket seal is very important for efficient stove performance and safety.
The burn pot gasket installs over your current auger feed tube, air intake tube, and the igniter element tube and bolts flush against the stove. Install the gasket and simply tighten the burn pot back into place.
Ash and debris can cause your burn pot gasket to stain and eventually deteriorate. Regular cleaning and inspections of your Englander stove and burn pot gasket is the best way to ensure the safe and clean operation of your stove.
Note (If You're Experiencing Ignition Problems): If your burn pot has warped on the top edge and you are having problems with the stove igniting properly, 2 of these gaskets can be used together for a tighter seal or, replace the burn pot.
To replace the burn pot gasket, first remove the burn pot by loosening the two bolts that are located under the ash lip, using a ½” socket or open ended wrench. Pull the burn pot forward, until it clears the end of the feed tube. Then, rotate the burn pot and remove it from the stove. Scrape any residue or gasket material from the burn pot and the back of the stove’s firewall. Install the new gasket against the firewall of the stove, ensuring that the hole for the igniter (if applicable) is on the proper side – Igniter is shown in. Reinstall the burn pot and tighten the two bolts, using a ½” socket or open ended wrench. Hold the burn pot firmly against the back wall of the stove and tighten each bolt a little at a time.
Troubleshooting
This product can be doubled up if the burn pot has started to warp.
