Description

Replacement vacuum switch hose, 1-foot length for the Mt Vernon AE, E2, and Trekker pellet stove.

Most Quadra-Fire pellet stove models will require 18" or more, if you have a model other than the Mt Vernon AE (insert or stove), Mt Vernon E2 (insert or stove), or the Trekker, use part SRV7000-0450

If you need a new switch AND hose, use part SRV7000-531

Troubleshooting

Over time, the vacuum hose can dry out. This commonly happens at the ends of the hose where it connects to the pressure switch and the port on the stove. When there is an air leak in the hose, the pressure switch contacts can open causing an error code.

Normally the hose is longer than needed. If this is the case on your unit, you may be able to trim the ends of the hose to remove the rotted sections and reattach it between the switch and the port. If this does not solve the problem, make sure your venting is clear of any obstructions and verify that the combustion blower is spinning. If both items mentioned are as they should be, the vacuum switch may need to be replaced.

Quadra-Fire Note: The vacuum switch is located on the right side of the appliance under the feed motor behind right side panel and connects to the drop tube with a hose.


Warranty

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.

Please note, we are unable to track US Postal packages once they cross the US border and cannot guarantee shipping times.
