Replacement Convection Blower for select Whitfield Pellet Stoves. This blower pushes the warm air out of the stove and into your room. Also known as a room air blower. Made by Fasco.

Fits the following stoves:

All Advantage stoves, Profile 20/30, Optima 2/3, Quest Plus, T300P/T301P/T305P/T308P, and select Prodigy stoves such as:

  • Prodigy I - WP3 Serial number 1001 - 2281
  • Prodigy II - WP3 Serial number 1001 - 2281

    Note: Will not fit regular Quest stoves, only Quest Plus. If you aren't sure which model you have, check under the hopper lid or behind the stove.

    1. Unplug the unit from the power source.
    2. Remove the right-side service panel to access the blower.
    3. Disconnect the blower's wires from the main wiring harness.
    4. Remove the blower mounting screws from the rear wall of the stove and remove the blower.
    5. Install your new blower with a new gasket.
    6. Reconnect the blower wiring.
    7. Push the high-limit reset switch button just above the blower. This will verify the switch is not in the open position.
    8. Plug the stove in.

    Troubleshooting Notes

    If your blower is buzzing or vibrating when it's on, remove it and look inside at the blower wheel, you may have something foreign caught in the blower wheel, such as a pellet. Hair and other debris should be removed from the blower wheel at least once a year. Symptoms of a poorly performing blower will be excessive noise, vibration or heat. If the blower is clean and you are still experiencing problems, replace the blower. In rare instances, the control board may be sending a modified waveform to the blower. If you replace the blower and the vibrations or excessive heat are still present, replace your controller. Current versions of the SP4L-151-1 blower are a sealed bearing that requires no lubrication, though from time to time we do see parts come in from the manufacturer that are made to the original spec that requires lubrication. This will be indicated on the listing table attached to the blower.

    Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.
