Description

This Quadrafire convection blower is used on a variety of Quadrafire stoves and inserts for pellet, wood, and gas. The convection blower has the dual purpose of warming the room with the heat from the stove and keeping the stove or insert from overheating.  See Compatible Models to verify compatibility.

This blower is controlled by by Snap Disc #1 in all pellet applications. If the Snap Disc #1 has failed in the open position the blower will not get power. Always bypass snap disc #1 prior to ordering a new blower to troubleshoot the switch.


  • CB1200i Classic Bay Insert - Snap Disc #1 SRV7000-829 (Convection Blower) 125°F Snap disc #1 is located on the right side of the firebox. There are 2 purple wires connected to it. This snap disc turns the convection blower on and off as needed. Power is always present at snap disc #1.
  • CB1200 Freestanding - Snap Disc #1 SRV230-0060 (Convection Blower) 145°F Snap disc #1 is located on the right side of the appliance on the top of the heat exchanger box. There are 2 purple wires connected to it. This snap disc turns the convection blower on and off as needed. Power is always present at snap disc #1.
  • Contour, Castile, Santa Fe - Snap Disc #1 SRV230-0470 (Convection Blower) 110°F Snap disc #1 is located on the right side of the firebox. There are 2 purple wires connected to it. This snap disc turns the convection blower on and off as needed. Power is always present at snap disc #1.

easy peasy

i needed to replace the convection blower in my ps 35 but could not find a video that would show me how. because of that i was worried about installing the part. however, the part was easy to replace and within a few minutes my stove was up and running again and the house is now warm as can be. thanks stove parts 4 less for the fast delivery and always having parts on hand.

Amazing service and prices

I’m a DYI kind of guy. An engineer by trade so I know quality when I see it. They use Fasco motors. These are USA made and very high quality. They are also best suited for use in equipment like this. High heat kills motors especially the bearings. These motors will last for countless years. The price is lower than anyone out there selling Chinese garbage motors too! 5 Stars!

Quadrafire Santa Fe Convection Blower

Other than having to gently pry the fiberboard pad off the bottom of the original blower, it fit 100% like the original. The fiberboard pad is necessary to get the clamp that holds the blower tight. The fiberboard pad is not listed in the parts list.

  • Does this replace the original part number 7000-108 for a Mt Vernon PMH pellet stove

    No, these blowers are different. The SRV7000-108 is a bigger blower with more RPM (spins faster) and has more AMPS (more powerful)
