Description

Quadra-Fire Exhaust Combustion Blower, Motor Only Replacement. This part ONLY fits the original Mt Vernon Stove model which was discontinued in 2006 (Pre AE). This motor comes with a 7" hub mounting gasket.

This is a variable speed motor that is designed to work with the 4-speed control box used on the older Mt Vernon Stove(OM).

Exhaust Blower Replacement

  1. The room air convection blower needs to be removed prior to removing the combustion motor.
  2. Remove the right side curtain.
  3. Remove the wires connecting:
  4. Vacuum switch - red & orange
  5. Circuit breaker - gray & black
  6. Electrical cord connector - black & double white with green
  7. Thermostat terminal - 2 yellow
  8. Disconnect vacuum hose from the vacuum switch.
  9. Remove the rear screen from the stove by removing the 3 screws at the bottom and the 5 screws along the top of the screen.
  10. Disconnect the double white and double blue wires from the exhaust blower.
  11. There is a removable plate on the exhaust blower. Loosen the 6 screws in the keyhole shaped holes and rotate the hub plate.
  12. Remove the exhaust blower and gasket.
  13. Re-install in reverse order.
