This Quadra-Fire feed motor assembly is used on all model variations of the Classic Bay CB 1200 pellet stove and the CB 1200i Pellet Insert

This whole assembly is a compatible fit for all model versions when it is installed completely as a whole assembly.

This assembly has updates to the bearing and the motor bracket which ARE NOT COMPATIBLE with older feed assembly parts.

  • 1 x 7/8" Lock Collar (229-0520)
  • 1 x Nylon Bearing (SRV7000-598)

  • 1 x Feed Motor Gasket (SRV240-0731)
  • 1 x Feed Spring Assembly (SRV7027-024)

Feed Motor Spring Replacement Instructions


  1. Open the right-side curtain and remove hopper's side heat shield to access wiring and disconnect Molex wire connections. If there are not any Molex wires connectors, then disconnect the spade connectors under feed motor cover.
  2. Remove or support the hopper lid while you work.
  3. Mark the feed adjustment rod position on feed motor cover for future reference. This will eliminate the need to re-set the feed rate when you are done.
  4. Remove the cover and front access plate from hopper. Use a 7 /16" wrench to remove the two nuts holding down the nylon bearing and motor mount.
  5. Remove feed motor / auger assembly by pulling out towards face of the stove.
  6. Install your new assembly.


  1. NOTE: This assembly has a different bearing and motor mount than what was on previous models. The bracket mounts directly to the feed tube without the nylon block.

What to check if the unit is NOT feeding pellets:


  • Snap Disc #2 malfunctioned
  • Vacuum switch is not closing
  • Hopper lid switch (if equipped) is not aligned
  • Vacuum switch hose is clogged at feed tube
  • Capacitor on motor is too close to heat source or is defective
  • Bad control box

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.
