Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement.   1. How do you test this sensor prob

    This probe is simply a resistor at the end of a length of wire. To properly test the sensor you need to read values through the controller and is not information we would access to, however; Harman does make a diagnostic display that allows you to see the values the probe is sensing.
    Generally though, if you plug it in and the stove does not go into a 4 blink error code, the sensor is working.

Exactly the part I was looking to use for relocating the sensor probe. I could have used generic wiring and connectors but I prefer to use OEM parts when they are available. Relocating the sensor probe to a location further from the stove than the wire that came with the stove would allow has resulted in more efficient stove operation and a better balanced temperature in my home.
