Install Instructions For Harman Distribution Blower (Accentra Insert 2003-2012): 3-21-47120-AMP
Accessing the distribution blower on the Harman Accentra (2003-2012) can be a challenge. It is located under the unit. I've found that the easiest way is to pull the stove out from rack, lay a bag of pellets on the floor in front of the hearth, after disconnecting the brown, white and green wires from the power supply and disconnecting the room sensing probe, simply allow the stove to fall forward on the pellets (across the door). You can then access the blower from bottom.
Some Accentra units that were made late in their product run will have wire disconnect terminals under the unit. All Invisible units and per-2010 Accentra units will have a four-wire blower (Black, white, red, blue) that pass through the stove base. It can be very tricky to pass the wires through the base again during replacement. It can be done, it just takes patience. The easiest way to to do this is to cut the wires at the motor (leaving the old wires in place through the stove base), strip back the ends of the existing old white and black wires and install two new disconnects (sold separately). Remove the old motor with its wires cut, install your new motor and connect the new wires to the new disconnects under the stove. Make sure you either shorten the leads to the new motor or tie them up snug to the motor bracket prior to installing the stove.
If your stove frame gasket that the unit slide son on has frayed apart, installing a new gasket is easy to do while you already have the stove out of the frame. There is a link to these gaskets in our Frequently Bought Together product grouping.
