The distribution blower is also known as the room air blower or convection blower. This blower moves room air through the heat exchanger to produce convection heat and to keep the stove from overheating. This blower is mounted without a gasket in all applications.

Instructional Notes

  1. Unplug the stove from power
  2. Locate the old blower on the stove and disconnect the wires leading away from it to the wiring harness
  3. Using a 3/8" socket driver, remove the two screws holding it in place
  4. Install the new blower, securing it with the same hardware
  5. Reconnect the wires, white to white and black to the other corresponding color
  6. Make sure to reattach the green grounding wire if there is one
  7. secure any loose wiring with zip ties

Troubleshooting Notes

If your stove is overheating or prematurely shutting down, a collection of debris in this blower fan can be the culprit. Always clean this blower when troubleshooting. Some units use 2 of these blower in the stove or insert.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.

P63 distribution blower

I ordered a Harman OEM distribution blower from Stove and Grill Parts for less for my P63 pellet stove. Shipping was free. Installation took about 30 minutes. Didn’t have to worry about replacing wire ends or wire coding being different-was exactly like my original 10 year old blower. Works as expected-quiet. Saving my old blower as a backup for emergencies. Only difference was new blower wasn’t painted. They filled my order the same day.

P38 pellet stove blower

Ordered P 38 replacement fan blower and it was easy to replace, I didn’t even move the stove from the wall. Two bolts and three wires was all that was involved. The hardest job was getting the old wire from the control panel. I had to crush the plastic adapter to remove the wire. All said and done the fan is quiet and I notice the CFM‘s are better than my original Harman blower. Quality product would buy from again!

Perfect replacement

This was the perfect replacement part for our 52i accentra insert. Very simple to replace yourself, you just need to pull out the stove, remove 2 screws and 3 quick-connect wires. The part comes with the correct quick-connects already in place making replacement a breeze. Shipping was super fast!
